Tip Of The Month
Quilters: A reminder for all quilters (especially those who use our chapter pre-made quilt top kits, as we have a team of dedicated volunteers who create those kits with well-matched fabrics with specific child types and ages in mind (eg boy or girl, teen age or toddler). We need to be sure the backing fabric matches the style and colors of the quilt top (e.g. do not use cutesy, flowery or pink in backing fabric if the quilt top has cars/trucks, dinosaurs, outer space, outdoorsy scenes, or any other boy appropriate fabric). You are always welcome to contact Barbara Ross (sjlinus@gmail.com) for an appointment to come and select appropriate backing fabrics from our donated fabric collection if needed. Thank you for your attention to this very important detail.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept blankets made with the "Make it Give it" fleece sold at JoAnn's as it is not as durable as their standard fleece. We want our blankets to last through years and years of snuggling and hugging. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit 501c3 organization. Our Mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade and washable blankets, quilts and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.”
